The Connemara & Cong Tour departs at a time that suits you from your accomindation. To see the hidden Ireland off the main tourist track this tour is a must with the first stop at Ross Errily Friary- a hidden but atmospheric 14th century monastery before entering Cong Village where you have time to explore Cong Woods to see Ashford Castle or stroll the town famous for being the location for the 1950s classic movie, 'The Quiet Man'- or simply have a coffee on the edge of Lough Corrib- the largest lake in the Republic of Ireland.
Entering Connemara on the Lough Nafooey route allows you to see the stark beauty of the hidden valley of Connemara before arriving at the Atlantic Ocean and for hostellers there is an option to hop-off at Sleepzone Connemara. The tour then continues to Kylemore Abbey. Entrance into Kylemore Abbey & Gardens is not included in the tour price and is an optional fee. Leaving Kylemore late afternoon we driver through the Inagh Valley, Maam Cross & Oughterard and complete the circuit of Lough Corrib before arriving home to Galway City.

A camera - You'll see many beautiful landscapes and iconic Irish sights, so many guests bring their own camera. Comfortable Shoes - On each of our tours, we make stops that can require lengthy walks. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes so you don't miss out on Ireland's hidden gems! Weatherproofing - If the forecast is showing anything other than 100% sunshine, you should probably bring a rain jacket. All of our coaches have air-conditioning, but in the winter months it is advised to bring a scarf and/or gloves to keep you warm and snug when you're outside in the elements.

- Does the cost of the tour include admission to Kylemore Abbey & gardens? No however the cost of this is only €13 or you can book your tickets online for at reduced fee of €11.70
- Can you get lunch on the tour? Yes this is your tour if you see a nice resturant we can stop here or one of our tour members can recommend a nice place to stop.
- How long does the tour stop at Kylemore Abbey & gardens? What ever suits you, We recommened about 2 hours but we can stay longer.
- Where does the tour start from? Outside your accomindation.
- Does the tours operate daily all year round? Yes, the tour operates daily all year round except Christmas day, St Stephens day & New Years day.

- Do I get a discount if I take the Burren & Cliffs of Moher Tour? Yes you get a 10% reduction on the second tour.
